Hidden Notes

My husband, Rich,
travels weekly, and I sometimes hide in his brief case different
things, like a note expressing how much I appreciate him and
love him, plastic Easter eggs filled with the lyrics of our
favorite song tucked inside, or just a red heart folded in half
with a lipstick kiss from me inside it. He often leaves cards of
love or notes of how much he misses me and loves our life on
notes which he hides in various places of this house where I
will find them while he is away..
Some of these
places are folded inside our daily newspaper, hid in the
refrigerator, next to our coffee, on the afghan on our
television room couch, etc. Sometimes it takes some looking to
find them, but that adds to the excitement. Oh, we will be
married 34 years in January, and these little things are what
makes our marriage so alive and wonderful. |
